After
growing up all over Europe and South America as an army brat,
Sonya moved to Texas, where she attended high school and college,
studied a million-and-one things and finally got her Bachelor
of Fine Arts degree from North Texas State University. After serving
time in the corporate world as a senior creative / ad exec hocking
potato chips and soda, she realized she hadn't yet lived out her
childhood dream of becoming a circus monkey. Since that wasn't
possible, she decided the next best thing was to go into comedy...
